Desperately needs a foster or forever home 
This handsome little man is around 1–2 years old and
came into our care via the dog pound after going unclaimed.
He is an absolutely beautiful dinky Chow with the sweetest side once he knows you.
Since arriving with us, he has been lovely to handle and has shown us nothing but affection and kindness. He’s a quiet, sensitive little soul who is really struggling in kennel life now after spending weeks waiting for somebody to give him a chance.
However, we want to be completely honest and transparent when finding him the right home. We have been informed that whilst in a previous kennel environment he had shown some aggression. We have not seen this behaviour ourselves, but because of this — and because we know very little about his past — we are looking for an experienced, breed-savvy home willing to understand and respect him for who he is.
Chows are wonderful dogs, but they are very different to many other breeds. They are intelligent, loyal and deeply devoted to their people, but they are not naturally social butterflies and they need understanding, patience and clear boundaries. They can be wary of strangers and do not respond well to pressure or force. A home that understands the breed and will allow him time to settle properly is absolutely essential.
Mojo needs a pet and child free home where he’s not left alone often.
He is not yet neutered, but this will be done in due course.
Underneath it all is a dog who desperately deserves stability, kindness and somebody willing to see past the fact he’s ended up unwanted in kennels. Watching him sit and wait day after day is heartbreaking because there is clearly such a lovely boy in there.
