MURPHY – 9-MONTH-OLD STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER
Murphy is a stunning, affectionate young lad who has come into rescue through no fault of his own. He is friendly, loving and shows absolutely no aggression, but we must be honest: he has had very little training or sensible guidance and is now a strong, boisterous adolescent who will push boundaries if allowed.
Murphy has already made excellent progress in foster, is crate trained and sleeps beautifully through the night. However, his new family must understand that he still needs ongoing training, structure and consistency. He will not be an “easy” dog at first, and settling him into his new home will require patience, commitment and a willingness to continue the work that has already begun. In the right hands, this wonderful boy will flourish.
Because of his exuberance, Murphy cannot live with children. He may be able to share his home with a tolerant, confident dog who can cope with his lively nature.
If you can offer Murphy the kind but firm guidance he needs, you will be rewarded with an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
